Eric founded Teonan Biomedical in 2014 and has led the company since its 2021 listing, taking it from three products to a multi-category house of brands and its first profitable year in fiscal 2024. His background is consumer goods and logistics: he ran a third-party logistics company through its growth from a single warehouse into a regional operator, and oversaw the expansion of an international dried-fruit-and-nut brand across borders — building deep cross-border trade and regulatory experience along the way. Eric sets category strategy, negotiates supply and listings, and holds approximately 38% of the company's shares.
Scott has been Mercanto's finance lead since 2020. A CPA, CGA with more than a decade in financial management, he was previously CEO of AAA Montreal, an industrial hemp licence holder, and before that Associate Director of McGill University's Cancer and Genetics Research Centres and Associate Director, Internal Audit. He is responsible for reporting, excise and treasury, and holds approximately 8% of the company's shares.
Jerry runs day-to-day operations and signs off every lot before it ships. He holds an M.Sc. in Renewable Resource Sciences from McGill University and has extensive experience in the production of regulated ingredients, procurement cycles, inventory and supply-chain planning.
Peter supports accounting, reporting and operational projects. A CPA with an MBA, he brings controllership and process discipline to the finance function.

Steve is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Manitex Capital Inc. (TSXV: MNX), a Montréal merchant bank he has led since 1995, and co-founder of Valeo Pharma Inc., where he served as President and CEO from 2003 to 2024 and then as Chairman. He began his career at KPMG and has served on the boards of ChitogenX, Earth Alive Clean Technologies and Pinetree Capital. He was named one of Montréal's Top 25 Healthcare Technology Leaders in 2022.
Franck spent more than twenty-five years in senior human-resources and operations roles at General Electric and Merck & Co. across the United States, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Canada, retiring as Vice-President, Human Resources at Merck. He is a graduate of Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and brings organizational, compensation and governance experience to the board.
Michel is a partner at Dahan et Associés, a Montréal accounting firm, and a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience advising private and public companies on accounting, tax and financial strategy.
